About this Novel
Once upon a time, in the city of Kisra, there ruled a cruel king named Jawat. He possessed the strength and magical powers bestowed upon him by God, making him feared by the city's inhabitants. Despite the people's troubles under his oppressive rule, there was one peculiar custom prevalent among them. The king had a bizarre practice of taking any woman he laid his eyes upon, regardless of her identity, to sleep with her for a night. This ritual had to be carried out with approximately eighty-five women, all of whom remained childless as the king's vile deeds would render them unable to conceive. Near the town, there was a small village named Birnin Islama, whose residents followed the Muslim faith. However, they were known to have a righteous king named Ibn Salim, who had two siblings, a brother, and a sister named Harshashe. The townspeople marveled at the beauty of Harshashe, likening her to a magical enchantress. Her name was Lasmina, and she was blessed with bravery and an uncanny ability to accomplish any task. There seemed to be nothing she couldn't achieve if she set her mind to it.
